My Mind, A Mirror....

Hi all,

Today I have seen a nice quote at one of the desks near my cubical; "Don't show your attitude, I have my own". Ofcourse, it's an old one. But, I felt it's pretty awesome. In this mechanical world, everybody will possess some attitude. But, many forget that attitude has to be used where it has to be used. It's nothing but a mask over our face. Showing your attitude everywhere is like wearing a sunglasses 24x7.

Attitude helps us to preserve our self-respect amongst the people. But, if you don't know how to use, it would spoil your self-respect. All this is known to everyone. But, no one can remember it while in practice. Because of this misuse or ill-usage of one's attitude, apart from the damage to the self, it will hurt lots of souls around them. Which some times may lead to mishaps.

Most of the people, unknowingly, make this as a practice and they get accustomed to it and feel like "that's my character". But my friend, wake up now, it's not your character, it's the attitude you are showing or trying to show. It's not healthy to everybody in any ways. All this can be understood once you start analyzing yourself about treating others. Just think of everybody you meet daily. How you treat them? Do they really deserve such response from you? Do they deserve more? All this analysis would sometimes make you go crazy. Better make your mind a MIRROR. This would help you a lot. MIRROR reflects the original thing.
So, you reflect the same to whom you meet. **But, not allways.....

  1. A nice observation. Also, many people relate attitude to being professional, blunt, straightforward or formal. But I would suggest that attitude is not what you follow, but it is something that you possess and it flows inside out and not outside in. If the former happens, you have the right attitude. If the latter happens, you are not original, you are fake just like millions of other confused lot.
